GARNinture - Gotland Pelt Wool 5.5/2

GARNiture is an organic yarn from Gotlandic peltsheep raised on Funen. It is also known as Gotlandic pelt wool. The sheep and lambs are organically raised and graze on my own fields in my backyard on Funen.

In the early autumn, I have the delicious, smooth, and lustrous summer wool shorn, which is then processed at the unique Hjelholt Uldspinderi. To achieve the perfect quality and feel, the Gotlandic pelt wool is blended with approximately 20% soft merino wool.

The yarn is undyed, and the play of colors is therefore a 100% natural result of the blend between the beautiful shades of gray, lustrous Gotlandic wool and the white merino wool.

Yardage: 275 m per 100 g.

Recommended needles/hook: 3 to 4.50 mm

Gauge: 21 sts x 28 rows = 10x10 cm (needle 3.50 mm)

The yarn is sold in 100-gram skeins.

Washing instructions

It is recommended to wash the yarn in water at a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius with wool detergent. Then squeeze the water out of the yarn and rinse it 2-3 times. Spin dry and lay your work flat to dry on a towel.
